Sanditon, Eurovision and Busy Lives #LittleLoves

The devil works work for idle hands to do, or so the saying goes. Life is certainly not idle at the moment so I have no fear of the devil making work for me. Although I have to confess that I do in many ways like the rushed pace of life, no time to be tired or bored. Instead, I’m tackling my blogs, getting stuck in with my day job and finding the balance between family life and getting chores completed.

Easter, The SoJo Files and New Blogs #LittleLoves

There is no doubting that Spring is here, from the beautiful blossom on the trees, the relatively good weather and of course, Easter celebrations. It’s amazing the difference that the brighter days can make to our attitude and approach to the day ahead. Life will always be busy but I’ve been attempting to be more present at the moment rather than overwhelmed by the list of things I need to complete.

Spring, Reading and Dinner Dates #LittleLoves March 2022

Spring appears to have sprung this month. The warmer and drier days enabled us to get the washing on the line, the grass cut and the garden bush trimmed. As well as completing other tasks around the house – the brighter days make me feel more energised. It’s been a month of recovering from the February half-term and planning for the upcoming Easter holidays around everyday family life.

Brick Week, Sister Wives and Jackass #LittleLoves – February 2022

This month’s #LittleLoves… February has blown by so quickly – sorry for the Storm Eunice joke! Jokes aside, the shortest month of the year is coming to an end and it really doesn’t feel as though we’ve had the opportunity to make the most of it. Which is part of the reason I like to share my #LittleLoves with you to help me look back at the month and focus on those little things in life that have made me smile.

Totally Booked, silence and loungewear #LittleLoves

This month’s #LittleLoves… The final days of January are finally here. January always feels like the longest month of the year. I’m never sure if it is due to the colder weather taking hold, the loss of the Christmas decorations of those extra days between paydays after the expense of the month before.

Christmas, New PJ’s and Happy Birthday To Me! #LittleLoves

This month’s #LittleLoves… It’ time to wave a fond farewell to the festive season and the final month of 2021. December always seems to pass by in a blur of school Christmas activities, family fun and, of course, Christmas. Hopes for a more ‘normal’ Christmas after last years life in lockdown Christmas were scuppered somewhat but actually, in many ways, we had a much more laid back celebration.

Jack Dee, Road Trips & Jumpsuits #LittleLoves

I honestly feel as though I have spent the entire month chasing my tail. The days and weeks gave all merged together and I’ve spent my time fighting fires rather than making progress. This being said it has been a fabulous month with attending BlogOn and getting to see the friends in my computer in real life.
