In The Night Garden has been delighting children across the country since 2006. I can still remember a colleague coming into work who had returned from maternity leave telling me all about the show (I was pregnant with Roo at the time). By the time that Roo came along I was fully aware of just what an impact that In The Night Garden had on babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Whilst Roo and Tigger don’t ask for In The Night Garden to be switched on the TV it doesn’t stop them enjoying an episode or two if it happens to come on the TV. Singing along to each of the characters different songs and even joining in with some of the dance moves too. We visited Alton Towers over the summer and Tigger loved the In The Night Garden ride which we must have went on two or three times throughout the day.
From Upsy Daisy, Iggle Piggle and Makka Pakka to the wider characters of the Pontipines and the Tombliboo’s it is easy to see why the show appeals to so many children.
This Christmas In The Night Garden will be making its way on to many Christmas wish lists. With a range of different characters, toys, books and DVDs available there is something for every little (or big) In The Night Garden fan.
