With the start of the Olympics in Rio the nation is gripped by all the different sports being showcased. Youngsters are sitting watching wondering whether they have what it takes to be an Olympian. Tommee Tippee has just launched their Ultra Bottle and to showcase that every baby is Ultra they have decided to host the Ultra Games…
What is the Ultra Games?
The Ultra Games from Tommee Tippee is the ultimate sporting event on the baby calendar. Over two weeks, from 8th August – 21st August, Tommee Tippee will be hosting 8 baby events for the nation’s youngest to get involved.
The events include:
Crawling | Smiling | Dribbling | Pooping | Peeing | Laughing | Napping | Rolling
The events will be hosted on the Tommee Tippee Facebook page where proud parents can enter their athlete as many times as they like throughout the Ultra Games. The winners of each event will be crowned a Tommee Tippee Athlete receiving an Ultra Medal, Sweatband, and an Ultra Feeding Bottle.
Tommee Tippee kindly sent us an Ultra Games pack and whilst Piglet was trying out for each of the categories, Roo and Tigger wanted to get in on the action too. I’m not quite sure which category each of them would suit the most but they had fun posing for photos.
Why the Ultra bottle?
1. Natural latch – The extra wide neck teat on the Ultra bottle offers a more breast-like shape for baby to latch onto. The teat is made from a super-soft, high-grade silicone which allows the teat to move in multiple directions like a breast replicating a natural feeding action. The breast-like nature of this bottle makes for easy switching between breast and bottle.
2. Secure seal – A contour zone has been uniquely built into the Ultra teat which forms a perfect match to baby’s open mouth. This zone allows baby to form a secure seal around the teat which helps reduce air ingestion and discomfort. It also helps prevent messy milk dribbles for a more comfortable feed.
3. Perfect flow – The innovative angled teat on the Ultra bottle provides a more comfortable, upright feeding position for baby and the milk flows down the bottle in an even way right to the end of the feed.
