There is something about stickers and sticky tape that kids just can’t get enough off (I suppose it’s like adults and post-it notes). I suppose in many ways it the parents to blame with eward charts and stickers for good behaviour etc. No matter how many stickers Roo and Tigger manage to get their hands on they are always on the hunt for more, adding them to drawings, their clothes or decorating cardboard boxes.
Roo I think has developed my passion for stationery, and really considers the placement of her stickers and saves her favourites for special drawings or letters to her friends.
Launching today is a new subscription service ideal for all those sticker thirsty children, The Sticker Club
What is The Sticker Club?
The Sticker Club is a global weekly sticker subscription club, delivering high quality crafted stickers to children around the world. Founded by Henry Bennett and Paul Loram, both dads themselves, who have drawn upon their successful entrepreneurial backgrounds to launch the club having spotted the growing desire for parents to encourage imaginative play through non-digital resources.
The Sticker Club offers an opportunity for children to experience the feeling of getting something posted to them each week – a feeling that Children do not have anymore with the decline of weekly magazine subscriptions. Launching hot on the tails of the recent success story of the World Cup sticker boom, which put sticker collecting very firmly back in the hearts and minds of children and adults alike.
How it works
Each week your child will receive 9 sticker sheets with a minimum of 40 stickers per week (that’s over 2000 stickers per year!). Each pack comes in an eye catching bright yellow envelope, which is delivered personally to your child by your postman each week. The Sticker Club also guarantees that they will never receive the same sticker twice!
Subscription Information
The Sticker Club is a subscription service, which costs £1.99 per week (including postage), to sign up please head over to The Sticker Club
Boo Roo and Tigger Too’s thoughts…
Roo has been very lucky to receive one of the first deliveries of the new The Sticker Club subscription service. As promised the bright yellow envelope popped through the letterbox and I have to say I was jealous of her funky envelope as my mail tends to arrive in boring brown envelopes.
Upon opening she was greeted with a little welcome note and her first 9 sticker sheets. Each of the stickers sheets containing a different theme and I was really impressed with the selection that was included. The novelty of having her own post and it containing stickers was most welcomed by Roo, with her especially loving the sticker collection with the little girl and hearts on.
The £1.99 weekly price tag is a fair price considering all the different stickers you receive, and is certainly cheaper than buy sticker packs from the newsagent and ending up with lots of doubles.
Disclosure: We have received a 3 month susbcription to The Sticker Club FOC for the purpose of review.
