Yesterday I received the most intriguing postcard in the mail, the front simply saying ‘Visit Skye‘ with the reverse harbouring a set of instructions…
I looked at the postcard and thought I’d try to take a sneaky peek but with no luck, however today the magic truly did unfold. I urge you all to head over to www.skye.co.uk, and simply type SWAP after the homepage has loaded to see what happens.

Now that you are in on the secret I can share the fabulous news that the gorgeous Isle of Skye is now twinned with the magical virtual world of Skylands.
October or SWAPober as it now to be known sees the release of Skylanders Swap Force. Chances are if you have a child over the age of 6 years old you will be aware of Skylanders and hopefully aware of the fantastic new addition to the series.
To officially mark the virtual twinning, a couple of very exciting things have happened! An inaugural visit to the Isle of Skye by Wash Buckler, one of the new Skylanders SWAP Force characters; Wash Buckler toured some of the island’s most famous landmarks and visited the children at Portree Primary School.
It looks like the postman brought intriguing postcards to PinkOddy too.
