One of the ways I judge a hotel room as soon as I walk in has to be their bedding, after all if I am suppose to sleep on it all night I at least want a clean bedspread. I can remember booking into a budget hotel with my then pregnant sister in law before we attended a Westlife concert in London. I cannot describe just how disgusting the room was and the bed sheets… well the less said about then the better (Ewww!).
Mr Boo and I have been lucky enough to stay in some really lovely hotels and I always joke with him whether they would notice if I slipped the bedspread into our suitcase on the way out. There is something so lovely about slipping under freshly laundered white hotel bedding. The crisp, ironed sheets along with a simple but elegant strip along the edging of the pillowcases and bedspread… simply wonderful.
Having decorated our room earlier this year we talked about getting some crisp white luxury bedding to finish off our room. After searching online for hotel bedding I came across Frette, founded in 1860 and based in Monza and Milan, Frette is one of the world’s leading luxury linens and home furnishings brand.
Just take a look at their bedsets and tell me that you wouldn’t enjoy spreading the night snuggled under the 100% Egyptian cotton sheets. Laying in both comfort and luxury, oh how divine!… unfortunately with two children popping in to snuggle in with us I can’t see the pure white sheets staying white for very long.
Never mind, I can console myself with looking at their range of pyjamas instead, after all I love my pjyamas more than my bedlinen.
