This week we returned to ROARR! as a family, a chance to reacquaint ourselves with the dinosaur trail, try out the Predator High Ropes and the new Dippy’s Raceway. So I thought I’d share what a visit to ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure is like under the new social distancing measures.

A few years ago I discovered the wonderful story of The Little Prince. A book that one of the children had brought home from the school library for us to enjoy at bedtime. From that first time reading the book I fell in love with the story and it has been one that we have enjoyed time and time again.
The former home of BBC Springwatch, the 700-acre reserve is abundant with wildlife and thriving year-round natural woodland and wetland interest. Woodland walks, trails, bird hides, gardens and boardwalks present an amazing opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty and charm of Norfolk’s Wensum Valley.
We headed over to Gressenhall farm and workhouse for LEAF #OpenFarmSunday. A chance to learn more about farming in Norfolk and meet some local producers. There’s even a chance for young people to have a go at operating farm machinery as well as enjoying a tractor ride around the farm.
Towering Treetop Tangles is the park’s biggest, highest and most daring play structure to date. Reaching more than 30 feet high and covering more than 1,000 square feet, it is aimed at the slightly bigger, more adventurous kids.
What better way to kick start the February half term holidays than a family day. ROARR Dinosaur Adventure had kindly invited us along to see how much the park had changed in the three-plus years it has been since we last visited. Located in Lenwade, Norfolk you can have a little fun getting there depending on which way your sat nav takes you. But it’s worth the venture down the country lanes to find the dinosaurs.
