P.S. I Love You, Gavin and Stacey & Visiting Stoke #LittleLoves

Oh, December! What a month you have been, from some wonderful highs to almost the lowest points that you could possibly face. Whilst I’d never truly want to wish my time away, I think I can safely say that I’m pleased to be heading towards the end of the month. Thanking December for the wake-up call it has given but happily waving goodbye to some of the long hours and days that I’ve experienced.

The Month That Was… November 2019

Coming from a family of birthdays all in the same month you would have thought that when I cam to have my own children that I would attempt to spread them across the year. However, that would be the sensible thought out plan but instead, we have all three birthdays in one month. Swiftly followed by the December festivities. Which this year seems to have dripped into the end of November.

The Man Who Didn’t Call, Frozen 2 and life decisions #Littleloves

As the end of the year closes in I’m starting to feel quite melancholy. There isn’t one particular thing that is making me feel this way. Rather a host of small things, probably insignificant to most people. All of which are chipping away at me. I’ve attempted to distract myself from the majority of things, however, there are some things that no matter what I do still manage to whizz around my mind.

The month that was… October 2019

Time to wave goodbye to another month and reflect before we greet the new one. October has had some bumps in the road but on the whole, we can’t complain. I don’t think anyone’s life is carefree and easy – it’s all about you knuckle down and overcome those challenges and setbacks.

The Month that was… September 2019

September has been a hectic one, but then it always is. It marks the end of the school summer holidays where we are attempting to cram in the last days of fun before school starts and life returns to the usual routine. Not to mention family events and celebrations. This month has thrown a lot at me, at us all really but although I groan about it, I’m not sure I’d change the hecticness of our lives.

The Month That Was… August 2019

Oh, August where have you gone? Our days filled with fun, sun (for the most part) and adventures. We’re all completely shattered and craving routine but it’s been a blast. The children have played, laughed and cried – it’s never all plain sailing. Thankfully nothing too major just standard family life.

The present parent #LifeLately

This time last week I had just returned home following a day at The Baby Show with a good friend and two of the children.  It was a day of an unplanned, but most welcomed digital detox.  We were too busy chatting, laughing and exploring to even check our phones.

Touching Distance #LifeLately

It’s funny how things can change with a phone call.  As I sit and write this I should be keeping a watchful eye on Piglet.  I should be explaining to Tigger that he’ll have to miss his swimming lesson this week.

Except I’m not.
