LEGOLAND Windsor // LEGO Ninjago, LEGO Reef and Miniland USA

The weekend finally saw our attempts to visit LEGOLAND Windsor bringing a whole new meaning to third time lucky.  With two previous attempts falling on snow days (*shakes a fist at the Beast from the East and the mini version too). We arrived to find the sun shining (making up for all the bad weather we’d experienced in recent weeks) and a host of much loved rides, alongside some new attractions waiting for us to explore.

Gaining perspective, White Flag and a Joules Scarf #LittleLoves

How life can change in a matter of hours.  Last week as I published my #LittleLoves post I was casually enjoying a drink and snack with Piglet and Tigger in London.  Just hours later I was sat in our local A&E department with Piglet who had taken a turn for the worse and ended up in resus.  There is nothing like a wake-up call to put your usual moans and groans into perspective.

LEGO Storage Brick: Multitasking storage solution

Over the years we have tried a number of different storage solutions for the children’s toys.  From toy chests, storage units and shelving.  With each of them fulfilling a purpose but never quite matched the requirements to what we were looking for.  Last year during a homework station makeover for Tigger we discovered the range of LEGO Storage accessories.  With a LEGO Brick Storage Drawer providing him easy access to all his pens, crayons and accessories whilst completing his homework or getting creative.

How to Create a Christmas Penguin from your LEGO Advent Calendar

LEGO Advent Calendars are part of our Christmas traditions, and whilst the 24 LEGO items are used and loved throughout the year.  It is difficult to know what to do with the tray that comes inside of the advent calendar – currently, ours are separately LEGO into colours and parts. Children can now enjoy their advent calendars well beyond December 25th thanks to the LEGO Group, which has released its 2017 series featuring sustainable paper pulp trays inside the box.

Christmas Traditions // LEGO® Advent Calendars

When it comes to counting down the advent period, I recall those advent candle wreaths that were made on Blue Peter.  The ones made from two wire coat hangers, tinsel and candles.  With each candle lit each week leading up to Christmas.  Not quite sure it would be passed by health and safety nowadays, with the combination of tinsel and naked flames.

LEGO Brick Storage Drawer: A Place For Everything

The LEGO Brick Storage Drawer from A Place For Everything (what a wonderful website name!) has been a helping hand in transforming his desk into a creative space.  With the LEGO brick storage drawers being stackable, it is something that I can add to as time goes on. Introducing a filing system (can you tell I worked in administration?) for his pens, pencils, papers and craft supplies.

LEGO Batman 70913 Scarecrow Fearful Face-off

With the release of the LEGO Batman Movie earlier this year, talk in the Boo Roo and Tigger Too household has included at least one mention of LEGO Batman every day.  Whether it was the countdown to when Tigger and Mr. Boo would be going to see it at the cinema.  Tigger completing some LEGO Batman Movie Activity Books to the chatter about the new LEGO Batman sets that had been spotted in the supermarket.
