The Things You Need To Do When Visiting London

London is one of the most exciting cities to see in the world and there is more to it than meets the eye. Some would say that it is an exciting city full of diversity and unique sights, others might say that there are some of the most incredible things to do and see which often means that without planning and preparation ahead of your time, you may end up not taking advantage of some of the best things to do.

Planning a Girls Day Out in London?

Whether you’re planning a pre-Christmas weekend away for shopping in the Big Smoke, or you’re looking for an alternative gift to pop under the tree, it’s easy to create a girls day out in London with Buyagift. It’s not always easy for mums to put time aside to spend with their daughters. Between working and keeping up with the hectic after-school schedule, quality time can easily be forsaken.

A Royal Invitation to Peppa Pig World

Peppa Pig, along with her family and friends have been part of our family life for around 10 years.  With Roo discovering the quirky tunes, songs and comedic actions that they all get up to.  Over the years we have taken both Roo and Tigger to Peppa Pig World just north of Southampton.  With each of them loving the rides, the atmosphere and all things Peppa Pig.  Up until now we hadn’t taken Piglet, however, it was on our bucket list of places to visit this year.

Winnie The Pooh Exhibition at The V&A Museum, London

Given the nicknames of my children, it will come as no surprise that Winnie The Pooh holds a special place in my heart.  Although I have always loved the stories from AA Milne, which have been beautifully brought to life by the illustrations from EH Shephard. The continued affection for the adventures and characters stems from a gift that my dad bought me as a young girl.

Fun Family ways you can spend your Avios

When it comes to entertaining the children during the school holidays and at weekends the cost of entry to theme parks, wildlife centres and activities can soon add up.  Although you can attempt to budget a little extra for these weeks there is an alternative way you can pay for these attractions and entertainments. How?  By using Avios! It’s easy to collect Avios – for example, you can collect Avios throughout the year by shopping with your favourite online retailers via the Avios eStore, exchanging your Tesco Clubcard vouchers, or registering your bank cards to collect Avios when shopping in store. Sign-up is free and you also can collect Avios whenever you or the family fly with British Airways and their other partner airlines.

Highway Rat Trail, High Lodge, Thetford Forest

The Julia Donaldson books beautifully illustrated by Axel Scheffler have been family favourites for many years.  Whilst The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom will always hold a special place in our hearts.  The animation of The Highway Rat shown on TV at Christmas really made the story come alive for us and has been watched many times over.
