Hello sunshine, where have you been hiding? Midweek we managed 26C here, which was so beautiful. I joked that the weather gods were attempting to make up for all the miserable weather we’d had with some scorching days.
This week’s #LittleLoves…
Read
Piglet is following in her sibling’s footsteps by loving books. there are ones that she will grab from the bookcase time and time again. However, there is nothing like a new book to add excitement to storytime. This week has seen us discovering Molly’s Magic Wardrobe.
Watched
Sky: The change in the format and presenters for Top Gear last year made me question whether I wanted to watch the show. So Mr Boo has been watching the episodes whilst I have been working or whatever. However, this week I caught one midway through and stayed to watch the end of it. It looks like they have found their feet and their roles within the presenting team so it wasn’t too bad.
Amazon Prime Video: The Big Sick – a laugh out loud and tear-jerking film
Netflix: With a weekend in Barry under our belts I couldn’t not rewatch Gavin and Stacey.
Heard
Whilst listening to a random playlist out on our travels at the weekend. I noted that I’d not heard any Rod Stewart. *Confession time* Rod Stewart is my secret love (his music, not him!). I once had a car stereo stolen and they took the Rod Stewart CD that was inside. When talking to the police about it they said that another stereo had been stolen the same night, however, they left the Girls Aloud CD behind.
Made
With both Roo and Tigger completing SATs this year in Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. Collins4Parents invited me over to their page to do a Facebook Live chatting about SATs. Discussing what SATs papers the children will receive and how we as parents can help prepare our children.
Wore
We finally received the call to say that Tigger has a place for swimming lessons at a nearby pool. This resulted in a small shopping trip for new swimwear, swim hat and goggles. I’ve made a little shopping haul video to showcase what we bought.
Lastly
We visited Wales at the weekend to celebrate a couple off family birthdays. The weather was relatively kind to us, especially during our trip to Barry Island. I managed to see Gavin & Stacey’s house, visit some of the filming locations and walk along the famous promenade.
I may have left a little piece of my heart in South Wales… When can I go back?
