Ingredients
50g/2oz – Caster sugar
100ml – Flora Cuisine (100g/4oz Margarine)
150g/6oz – Plain flour
18cm/9in sandwich cake tin
Makes 8 pieces
Method
- Light oven gas 4/180C
- Lightly grease the tin
- Cream sugar and butter in mixing bowl using a wooden spoon
- When soft and creamy add the sieved flour to form a stiff dough
- Press into tin, level top, prick with a fork
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown
- Cut into 8 pieces, dust with caster sugar
Biscuits
Make as above, steps 1-4
Then roll out dough 1/2cm thick
Cut into rounds or shapes then bake on a greased tray for about 15 minutes
