Whilst I have been on maternity I have been using my time productively by going through my old TV box sets and watching them all over again. I have relived my teenage years by watching Dawsons Creek, seeing Joey agonise over Dawson and Pacey (aka the gorgeous Joshua Jackson). I’ve taken a trip down memory lane with Paddy and Tucker by watching Soldier, Soldier – the series that sparked my interest in joining the forces when I left school (I fell in love with Mr Boo and decided to not to join up).
Most recently, however, I have been reliving my late nights watching Sex and the City, watching Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha as they muddle their way through relationships in New York. Carrie’s on again and off again relationship with Mr Big and Samantha’s love affair with just about any red-blooded man. Whilst their ever-changing love lives are a source of entertainment it is their fashion that I love the most. Carrie has a wardrobe to die for, although I’m not convinced anyone else could pull off some of the outfits in their other than Carrie. I have to confess that it is their handbags that I love the most, I have serious Chanel handbag envy whenever I watch the episodes. From the classic quilted design to more adventurous designs, they are all stunning.
Oh, how I’d love to have a gorgeous classic black quilted lambskin Chanel bag. It’s such a classic style bag that can be worn with almost anything, from a simple white shirt with smart jeans to a stunning dress ready for a night on the tiles. I’m not quite sure Mr Boo is quite ready for me to rehome any more bags without releasing some of the ones that are hold up in my wardrobe. Maybe I could persuade him into getting me a preowned Chanel bag??
