The curious nature of my children makes me sometimes see the world through their eyes. They look at things with such wonder and question, how, when and why. Whereas as an adult I tend to drift through the days not questioning things half as much as I once did. Roo especially has always been the inquisitive one of my children. A real thirst for knowledge.
So when arranging a girly day out in London recently I knew that there was one place that we had not visited before and would really make Roo’s mind wonder – Ripley’s Believe It Or Not.

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, London is located in Piccadilly Circus in Central London. Inside The London Pavillion, there are five floors of wonder and facts to explore and discover.
Step inside a world where the bizarre and the unbelievable come to life and amazement is waiting around every corner – whether it’s an actual chunk of the Berlin Wall or Amazonian shrunken heads; a knitted Ferrari or a chewing gum sculpture, at Ripley’s there are mind-boggling wonders for even the wildest imagination. Starting on the top floor you make your way down through the different zones of the attraction. Each one offering a world of wonder and weird but wonderful facts. The exhibits on show allow everyone young and old to stand in amazement. Whether it is the tallest man in the world or the heaviest one (which you can stand on the scales next to him to see how you match up).
With some interactive activities like the Mirror Maze and The Black Hole, it really captures all of your senses and makes you look differently at the world around you.
Ticket Information
Tickets can be purchased on the day at the London attraction, however, if you purchase in advance you are able to get a discounted rate. It is worth checking out their meal packages with some of the top local restaurants such as Planet Hollywood and the Hard Rock Cafe. There are also attraction and sightseeing packages available.
