I’ve always loved the look of pergolas and it comes as no surprise that pergolas were on the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ (NALP) official list of the top lawn and landscape trends of last year. However, the traditional pergola definitely isn’t practical in England as their lattice roof gives zero protection against rain, so I’m glad I found this modern alternative.

Luxirare also adds that these modern pergolas “can be installed as an extension to your home, right outside your patio or as a standalone structure in the middle of your garden to create an interesting focal point.” Remember what I said about a balance between outdoors and indoors? This is exactly what I’ve been looking for.
