As a family we love to play games, whether we are sitting down for an intense game of Monopoly (honestly, I have no idea why we play it as we always end up falling out), a funny game of twister or a silly game of snakes and ladders.
I thought I’d try to live things up a little with the delivery of the new Walkers Bugles and incorporate them in a few fun games…
How Many Bugles
Have you ever had an idea of for something that just didn’t pay off? Well, this was mine. A simple idea adding a packet of Bugles to a food container, leaving slips of paper in front for everyone to guess how many Bugles were in the container and the winner would get to choose which film we watched on family film night (whilst munching their way through some Bugles).
Well, I made the mistake of leaving the container on the side and throughout the day Mr. Boo and Roo had nibbled their way through a quarter of the container meaning that I had no idea how many Bugles were in there and the game was scuppered.
Ten Bugles Bowling
With Piglet recently getting a ball pit, the children have been looking at ways to use all the balls (I swear, Roo and Tigger have used it more than Piglet has). With a family love of bowling, I thought it would be great to have a few games of Ten Bugles Bowling with you getting to eat all the Bugles that you knock over.
I have to admit this went a little wrong too as the ball pit balls were a little too light so were swaying all over the table. In the end, they took to huffing and puffing like the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood and attempting to blow them over.
Leaning Tower of Bugles
My most successful game was the Leaning Tower of Bugles. Simply stacking the Bugles on top of each other to see who could stack the most, however, to add a little extra competitiveness into the mix they had to do it all at the same time so they were squabbling over which were the best Bugles.
Me, however, I sat on the sidelines and watched the commotion unfolding whilst munching through the Cheese Bugles.
