As a little girl, I can remember the stories of Peter Rabbit being told by my mum. Beatrix Potter held a special place in her heart. Especially as my older sister was called Jemima Puddle Duck for two weeks until my parents could think of a suitable name for her. I think they should have stuck with it, it would have suited her.
Over the last few years, Peter Rabbit has grown in popularity with a children’s TV series, a Royal Mint coin collection and now a new feature-length film.
