A recent visit to the cinema alerted Piglet to the fact that there is a brand new PAW Patrol movie this summer. Time for PAW Patrol Adventure City Calls and what better way to bring the fun of the pups home than by playing the video game! Alongside this, we have been having some PAW Patrol fun around the house utilising Piglet’s extensive PAW Patrol toy collection – I’m sure she sneaks some more in when I’m not looking.

PAW Patrol Scavenger Hunt
The weather has been somewhat hit and miss over the last week or so (I thought it was supposed to be summer!?) which lead us to fall back on a family favourite of a scavenger hunt around the house. Setting up clues for the children to follow leading them to find pup treats (toy bones), treasure (gold coins) and most importantly rescue the pups that I had hidden. Always great fun, if not a little chaotic and I have learnt to put the same about of the different objects out so I know if they haven’t found something.
Colouring fun
Colouring is one of those activities that can be utilised to slow the pace down a little or bring out the competitive spirit in us all. Printing off some PAW Patrol colouring sheets is a great way to bring the characters to life. Young and old can get involved with the colouring fun, whether you opt to stick to the characters colours or change things up a little and give them a whole new look.

Whilst the fun of colouring, scavenger hunts and snack time is happening why not pop on an episode or two of PAW Patrol. Available to watch on Milkshake and Nick Jr. as well as being available to download on the Sky Kids App.

What we thought
Having previously loved the PAW Patrol Might Pups Video Game we were familiar with the style of the game brought to us from Outright Games. The new PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls Video Game didn’t disappoint. With the different elements of the game being something that can be utilised little ones to problem solve as well as gain pup treat achievements. Whilst still engaging the older children with the fun elements and graphics included within the game. Perfect for family games night when we are all together, helping each other through the games, unlocking badges and playing with our favourite PAW Patrol pups.
