After months and months of trying, I finally think that Tigger has the hang of this self-feeding lark. He will quite happily (well most of the time) sit down and munch away with the rest of the family.
With Organix celebrating their 20th anniversary this year they have put together a lovely toddlers treat pack, which includes some fab favourites along with some newbies.
When the pack arrived I opened the box to find some familiar packets, which with Tigger sitting next to me decided to nab straightaway. Away went the mini cheese crackers and mini gingerbread men… Yum, yum, they were gone quick as a flash.
I was pleasantly surprised to find one of their new range included in the box, introducing Mighty Meals. A range designed for kiddies aged 1-3yrs but can be enjoyed anyone. Currently available in eight varieties, with some lovely traditional favourites including Tasty beef stew and dumplings also pork meatballs.
A range of their fingers foods ‘Goodies’ are also included (apart from the previously nabbed mini packets). Tigger has previously tried out their veg & oat bars and at the time was not keen on them but as his taste buds have been exposed to more flavours he really enjoyed munching these. This is a relief to me as these are great to pop into your handbag/changing bag if you are out and about.
Finally the Goodies cheese and herb puffs, I wondered whether Tigger would eat these as he is not too keen on ‘crisps’, unfortunately he wasn’t interested but Roo was more than happy to finish the bag.
Organix seem to have all bases covered when it comes to toddler foods, from finger foods, snacks/treats and yummy meals. I would love to see them include a more fruit based product, possibly a fruit puree squeezy pouch or mini pot.
