Between school, work and after school activities the average week in the Boo Roo and Tigger Too household can be somewhat hectic on a good day. Tuesday’s are my nightmare day, as I have to collect Tigger from school at 3.30pm before heading back out to collect Roo from her after school football training at 4.30pm ensure she has a bath before preparing tea and heading back out at 6.00pm to take Roo to Cub Scouts.
As you can appreciate tea is usually something quite simple on a Tuesday as I don’t have the time to stand there and prepare something fabulous – that was until I was sent the Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Tacos to try out.
Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Tacos
What they say about Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Tacos:
Tasty Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Tacos are an easy midweek meal solution, ready in 20 minutes. They can be prepared easily in 2 simple steps:
- Cook your mince
- Prepare your toppings (grate your cheese, shred your lettuce, dice your tomatoes)
Uniquely, shaped like a bowl, Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Flour Tortillas have a flat bottom, making them easy to fill, hold and eat for all the family. Simply warm for 30 seconds in the microwave, fill and eat.
Preparing the Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Tacos really was as easy as they claim it to be. Simply brown off 500g of mince, drain any excess liquid, add the smoky BBQ seasoning mix and 50ml liquid bring to the boil and then simmer for a few minutes. I did find the prepared Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Tacos mix to be a little dry so I think I would try adding slighter more water or even add in a diced onion net time I prepared them. Once they were added to the Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Flour Tortillas along with the salsa and grated cheese they tasted delicious and I can see that by playing around with adding onion, salad and possibly some garlic could give the meal a different twist.
Mr Boo and I tend to eat tortillas and tacos quite often but Roo always seems to struggle with the filling falling out and it ends in disaster however the new Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Flour Tortillas are easy for her to fill herself, hold and most importantly eat.
Having used the Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Flour Tortillas I think I am a convert and have already planned to use them with other meals such as Bolognese and fried chicken strips, making it much easier to serve food and let everyone fill their tortilla however they want.
Have you tried the new Old El Paso™ Stand ‘N’ Stuff Soft Tacos and Flour Tortillas?
