How to Make Chewy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

What makes these cookies so chewy? Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies are perfect for anyone who loves a chewy cookie. Part of what makes these cookies so chewy is the melted butter. When it is combined with the other ingredients, it makes a chewy cookie that will melt in your mouth.

Why are my Oatmeal Cookies Flat?

Flat oatmeal cookies is one of the biggest complaints people have when it comes to cookies. If you find that your cookies are going flat when you make them, consider:

  • Did you grease the pan? A greased cookie sheet will cause oatmeal raisins cookies to spread.
  • Too Much Butter? Sometimes if you have not measured the butter properly, it can cause thin, flat cookies.
  • Brown Sugar? DId you add too much brown sugar?
