Ingredients
100ml – Flora Cuisine (100g/4oz Margarine)
100g/4oz – Sugar
100g/4oz Self raising flour
100g/4oz Rolled oats
1 Tablespoon Golden Syrup
Pinch of Bicarbonate of Soda
2 Baking Trays
Makes 16 biscuits
Method
- Light oven gas 4/180C
- Grease trays
- Cream Flora Cuisine (margarine), sugar and syrup in a mixing bowl using a wooden spoon
- Mix in sieved flour and Bicarb. soda, the stir in the oats
- Press the mixture into a ball, divide mixture in 16 equal pieces, roll into balls
- Place 8 on each tray, flatten slightly
- Bake for 10-15mins until golden brown, leave on tray to cool for 5 minutes before lifting
- Cool on a wire rack
