Shopping is a funny thing, there are those who love it whether it is shopping for something special, window shopping or food shopping. Then there are those who loathe all types of shopping and find that it is just another necessary chore that must be completed in life.
I find myself stuck somewhere in the middle of the two, I love shopping for something special, even a spot of window shopping (not actual windows I may add)… food shopping however is where I start to lean towards the loathe category. Depending on whether or not I have one or both children with me depends on just how much I tip towards ‘get me out of here now!’. However this morning I needed to grab a few essentials for the coming week, milk, bread, lunch box supplies (I’m sure we have mice as I have no idea where it all goes), so Roo asked to come with me.
Upon arriving in our local Tesco’s they have just started doing the ‘Scan As You Shop’ wands so Roo was keen to give it a go. She had great fun scanning all our bits and pieces then adding them into the bags in the trolley… who knew food shopping could be so much fun??
