We’ve been back into our usual routine this week. Back to school, nursery, and work. I’m pleased to report that my house is looking much tidier and I even found the bottom of the washing basket #housewifegoals!
Although Mr. Boo has been away for a couple of days in Leeds enjoying the WWE NXT. The house always feels so empty without him here, especially after having with us during half term.

My week seems to have revolved paperwork. The children seem to have had 101 forms from school to complete. From school trips, Father’s Day Gifts and after school activities – It’s cost me a small fortune this week.
Watched
Love Island! I’m a huge fan of reality TV, it is my guilty pleasure. Big Brother has also started this week but I haven’t even looked to see who has gone into the house. Love Island, on the other hand, I am loving all the love triangles and desperate attempts to stay in the villa.
Heard
I’m really loving the revision ballads playlist on Spotify. I like to have music playing in the background as I work but I must confess to getting distracted by what is playing and end up skipping songs etc. However, the revision ballads playlist can happily play in the background with a collection of easy listening tracks which still allows me to work and sing along without being too overpowering.
Made
This week I overcame my nerves and got in front of the camera to film a hamper unboxing. Social Network Solutions had kindly sent me the most amazing Tots & Tykes hamper full of baby and children’s brands. It’s probably too long as I like to waffle on and chart about each item but actually, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be once I’d started.

The weather has been up and down all week, with glorious sunshine and then torrential rain. It’s made wardrobe choices a little difficult this week. Although thankfully the sun was shining during Roo’s swimming lesson (which shock horror we arrived early at!) so we made the most of the play park next to the pool. With the children wearing summer clothing from Nutmeg at Morrisons.
Lastly
I’m in a reflective mood at the moment. I’ve been looking at the different elements in my life and assessing whether they are the important stuff, the stuff that fills my life or the small stuff that I need to concentrate less on.
