Throughout everyday life there will always be stories that you read in the paper or watch on the TV that touch your heart. It is however, those personal stories from loved ones or friends that touch your heart that little bit more. Whilst you can show your empathy towards them you will never quite know what it is like until you walk in their shoes.
This week as I remember the heartbreak that has touched those around me I look at my children, hold them a little tighter and give them an extra kiss goodnight.
