Back when I was pregnant with Roo I can remember several people saying to me that you could never have too many blankets. So I went out and bought various different ones to ensure that I had enough for the crib, cot and ones to snuggle into. It was, in fact, a blanket that Magic Nanny bought for Roo that became her favourite (she still has it now).
Tigger opted for his muslin cloths over a blanket and again still has them now. When I fell pregnant with Piglet I looked out for a special blanket for her, one that as she grew up would be by her side whenever she needed it. I never managed to find that special blanket whilst I was pregnant.

The chunky knitted striped pattern offers that little bit of detail to the blanket whilst not being too busy or overpowering. The soft knitted feel of the blanket makes it feel as though it was hand-knitted by a family member, with a thick knitted edging to make it durable and cosy.
Piglet has been using the striped baby blanket for the past few weeks, either it be at home snuggled on the sofa or tucked up in her Snuggle Basket. It has been out and about with us on trips to Thomas Land, visiting family and completing the school run. The blanket washes really well in the washing machine, keeping its shape and softness which is a key factor especially as Piglet loves to dribble everywhere. It is also so warm and cosy that I wish that they did an adult version.
