A bag of luggage sitting on top of a suitcase

Lexon Backpack with Laptop Compartment

February 15, 2014

Between myself and Mr. Boo, we always seem to be heading on a train recently. Mr. Boo often travels for work and his company only travel via train which in some respects is great as he doesn’t have to worry about driving to wherever. It can also have it’s downsides, mainly in the amount of things that he has to take with him. From his laptop, tablet, paperwork, notebooks and pens etc. it all soon adds up. So when Gifts with Style got in touch to see we could put the LEXON backpack with laptop compartment through its paces I wasn’t sure if a backpack would hold all of Mr Boo’s work bits and bobs.

Looking at the backpack for the first time I was surprised by the quality of the both the design and fabric. The backpack itself is designed to be used either as a conventional backpack, however if you require something a little more professional the straps can be hidden away and carried by the anodised aluminium handle.

Starting at the front of the bag, the front zip contains compartment where you are able to store your mobile phone/iPod, pens as well as adequate space for your keys and wallet etc.

The first main compartment contains a padded section to store your laptop (up to 14 inch), this is secured with a hook n loop elasticated strap. There is also a compartment for storing a tablet (up to 10 inch without a bulky case), again secured with a hook n loop elasticated strap. Additional pen slots and a pockets to store chargers can also be found in this compartment.

The second main compartment is all about keeping your paperwork organised, with a large space available to store any folders or files that you may need to carry with you. Along with two zipped pockets that you could use to store receipts, notes, or business cards.

At the very back of the bag you have a zipped compartment which contains the backpack straps.

The backpack is available from Gifts with Style, currently selling at £65.00 which may seem expensive for a backpack however considering the flexibility to be able to carry it on your back whilst travelling or as a carry case for business meetings or as hand luggage on an airline. Alongside all the different storage compartments included within the bag it can be utilised in so many different ways and has certainly made Mr Boo’s travelling much easier.
