Just like that, the final full week of the school summer holidays is over. This summer has passed by all too quickly and I’m not ready for Roo and Tigger to go back to school next week. There is still so much I wanted to achieve with them.
Read
Hurrah For Gin is one of those books on my reading list that has been on there forever. I’m not quite sure why it has never made it into my Amazon basket. So when the book arrived within a back to school survival box from Vosene this week I was so very excited.
Watched
After watching the first few episodes of Game of Thrones, Mr. Boo and I decided to let a few episodes record before we had a binge session. WOW! This series did not disappoint!
Heard
I’m not sure if there is something in the air this week but Roo and Tigger have talked non-stop! Seriously! Chatter, chatter, chatter… all.. day… long! It is lovely to see them get on so well, but they need to come up for air once in a while. Maybe it’s time to bring out the ‘who can be the quietest, the longest’ game.
Made
This week has all been about car maintenance. Our family car has been in for a MOT, which it passed thankfully although will require two new tyres soon. Alongside this, the insurance has been sorted for another year and the car tax paid too – an expensive month but essential to keep us on the road.
Wore
Hello, sunshine! Having enjoyed several days out this week it has been about adjusting to the hot weather once again. Piglet has been sporting some of my Joules bargain buys again, with berry design summer sets featuring in our photos from this week.
Lastly
I’m starting to panic a little about how disorganised I have become over the summer. I really need to make sure that I get back into right frame mind once the children are back at school.
