If you are looking to transform your outdoor space and create an inviting space for your kids, there are so many ways you can make the garden fun for the children. Now some children don’t need any encouragement to get out into the garden (in fact, getting them back in again is usually the issue). However, with the pull of computers, tablets and films sometimes you need to persuade them to get outdoors. Take a look at these ideas on how to make the garden fun for the children…

Do you want to come in my playhouse?

Gardens are meant to be played in and there’s no better way to play than in a playhouse. All children love to have a little corner they can call their own, and playhouses are just the most magical way to give your child that amazing place where they can let their imagination run wild.

A playhouse can be used in so many different ways and is somewhere that they, their siblings and friends will turn to time and time again. Whether you want traditional playhouse that offers that time less feel. Or whether you want a way to express your child’s personality in a magical castle, a funky crooked mansion or even a teepee. You really will be spoilt for choice and you can let yours and your child’s imagination run riot.

Trampoline Fun

Whether you’ve got a little princess, or prince charming, they’re going to just love playing on the trampoline. What better way to keep them fit, get them outdoors and have fun than by jumping on a trampoline. You can even have a trampoline tent so your little munchkins can zip up and hide in their bouncy world. Just make sure you add the appropriate safety nets to make sure all your bouncing babies are properly guarded against any falls.

Garden Games

If they’ve had enough of bouncing on the trampoline and playing in the playhouse why not direct them to some great garden games. From giant Jenga, Connect 4 to drafts and chess, there is a garden game for everyone. If you want to tire them out with a seesaw, tree swing or have your very own game of croquet look no further. Big Game Hunters have everything you’ll want from cricket through to Giant Garden Games. All you need to do is get out, get the family out and get involved in having some fun.

There’s no better time to get out in the garden and have fun and encourage some healthy competition amongst your tots and teens. There are some great educational games to play too, with dominos and chess being popular options. They’ll also look great in the garden and be a real talking point amongst your friends and family who won’t be able to resist a quick play.
