Where it is and where to stay
Ayia Napa is on the far eastern end of the south coast of Cyprus and is well known for its beautiful sandy beaches, along with being a party capital, as we will discuss later.
For perfect luxury when staying in Ayia Napa, the Adams Beach Hotel is the place to stay. The hotel is perfect for couples and families looking for high standards and service of the first class variety. The hotel sits on Nissi bay directly on the beach, but the centre of Ayia Napa is just 3.2 kilometres away. There is a kids’ club on offer, which leaves adults free to enjoy the a la carte rooftop restaurant or the deluxe wing, both of which are for adults only.
The amenities at the hotel are nothing short of luxurious. For the adults, there is the swim up bar, beach tavern and sushi bar in their specific wing of the hotel. Children are not left out as the hotel has a playground specifically for them too. The children will play happily while the parents can relax and enjoy a massage. Families can spend time together in any of the five swimming pools, complete with a winding river and waterslides for the more adventurous.
Party until sunrise at the River Reggae after party
For a night on the town, the River Reggae Club is very much the place to be. This is one of the late night clubs that open their doors at 10:00 pm and don’t close them until long after the sun has risen. The club offers a unique experience that party-goers should not miss.
Located in a valley at the edge of town, River Reggae is based around a swimming pool in which visitors are welcome to take a dip and to chill out. Its popularity (or notoriety) perhaps stems from the bikini foam parties which take place on a Saturday all through the summer months. There is plenty else there for those who enjoy dancing the night away, include drinking games and wet T-shirt contests.
