If I told you that the bouquet of flowers pictured above came through my letterbox would you believe me? Well they really did, all be it not arranged in the vase. The gorgeous flowers come from Bloom & Wild and I love their motto ‘A brighter day, delivered‘.
So how do you get a gorgeous bouquet of flowers delivered through your letterbox?
Well it all starts over at www.bloomandwild.com where you select your chosen flowers, both the Bright & Wild and the Chic & Wild bouquets are able to fit through your letterbox, however the Luxe & Wild has so many flowers that it won’t fit through your letterbox (ideal for businesses). The flowers you chose are cut to order at the start of the week, packaged up on a Wednesday ready to arrive through your letterbox on Thursday (Bloom & Wild only deliver on a Thursday to ensure maximum flower freshness).
The freshly cut flowers are then placed into one of their special delivery cartons, with flower head protected with a fine netting to make sure they arrive in the best possible condition. Wrapped and tied with a beautiful purple ribbon they are ready to be popped through yours or your lucky recipients letterbox.
Upon arriving you are greeted with the most wonderful smell and delight as you take a peek to see what flowers you have hidden inside. Now I’m no flower arranger, generally speaking I prefer to unwrap, snip and plonk in some water. So the Bloom & Wild delivery did give me a little worry as the stems needed to be snipped and arranged in a vase. However, luckily for me they include a handy guide that not only tells you which flowers you have in your delivery but a step by step guide on how best to arrange the flowers.
I have to say I was pretty pleased with my first real flower arranging attempt, there were so many flowers and foliage to include that I was worried I didn’t have a big enough vase to hold them.
