As a little girl I loved My Little Pony, I can remember having a host of different My Little Pony friends. Including the ones where you had to hold your hand on the back to reveal a picture. There was something about the different colours and the accessories you got with them that I loved. I even had the My Little Pony nursery where all the baby My Little Pony’s played, slept and were fed.
Being a child of the 80’s I also had the My Little Pony plastic lunchbox, although I can’t remember if I had the matching flask that went inside. I think I must have done as I can remember drinking from a white lid that must have been attached to the flask.
There was a part of me that was very happy when Roo expressed an interest in My Little Pony a few years ago. We would happily sit and play with them together (reliving my youth), brushing their hair etc. As we sorted through Roo’s old toys earlier this month we discovered her box of My Little Pony’s and have kept them for Piglet when she is older enough to enjoy them.
