As I look at Piglet toddling around the living room I’m in awe of how confident she is. From the very start, she was always eager to be on the move. Rolling and crawling before Roo and Tigger ever did. Even now Roo would have only been walking for a matter of weeks. With Tigger not walking until 20 months and making me wonder if he would ever find his feet.
Not Piglet though, she wanted to be up and off exploring. She did wait until she was 13 months. Which surprised me as I was convinced it would be before her first birthday. Since those tentatively first steps, there has been nothing stopping her. She is a whirlwind, bounding around the living room. Climbing into toy boxes, up on the sofa and chasing Tigger and Roo around. Whilst she is confident around the house, she isn’t as confident on her feet when out in the garden or toddling along the paths.
Finding your feet
George at ASDA has launched a new collection of First Walkers. Designed sing the softest materials for comfort and perfect for growing feet. Manufactured using the most lightweight materials and have flexible outsoles to aid walking and protection. Available in sizes 3-7.
Ensuring that her feet are supported and with a good flexible outsole it has given Piglet much more confidence when she is outdoors. Happily running around the garden, playing with the balls and even attempting to climb up the slide (why do children do this?).
With a range of styles to choose from and prices starting at just £5.00, it makes starting her shoe collection much easier.
Disclosure: We received a selection of First Walker shoes FOC for the purpose of review.
