We’re off to Festival on the Farm 2014!

July 21, 2014

Fun on the Farm for all the family

Festival on the Farm is back!

Festival on the farm is now in its third year. The festival invites you to a creative family adventure into the great outdoors and wonderful wilderness. Festival on the Farm is being held on Saturday 26 July at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse. Choose to wander into the woodland survival camp to learn bush crafts such as shelter and fire building or visit the festival menagerie of birds, bees, bugs and much more!

Step inside the pages of a book and let the stories unfold, quite literally before your eyes with storytelling and theatre by Highly Sprung Performance Co

And for grown-ups there’s plenty to do. Treat yourself to original art work or handmade crafts at the arts and crafts fair in the Chapel or kick back on a straw sofa and listen to mellow music. Enjoy delectable treats at the local food market, get pedalling the smoothie bike to make your very own refreshing drink or take part in a raw food workshop for a wholesome snack courtesy of The Nectar Cafe.

Get advice on how to grow your own fruit, vegetable or herb gardens from the Breckland Master Gardeners. Take a walk with the festival Food Forager to learn about the wild food that is out there and for the little ones, learn how to grow your own with the Organix Explore Tour.

There will be plenty of things for the whole family to see and do,  for more details see www.festivalonthefarm.com
