The downside to living in a tourist town is that during the main season it can be difficult to enjoy the local attractions that we do throughout the quieter months.
Earlier this week with the sun shining Great Yarmouth was a mecca for tourists so instead of jostling for a place on the promenade we hopped into the car and drove a couple of miles up the road to Potter Heigham on the Norfolk Broads.
Whilst is was still bustling with tourists along with ourselves it wasn’t as sea of bodies and we were able to sit alongside the broad to watch the boats go by.
Having picked up a loaf of bread on the way we enjoyed feeding the ducks and swans. With Tigger shouting ‘here ducks, who wants some bread?’ before throwing another handful of bread strips.
It was lovely to get outdoors and enjoy the simple pleasure of feeding the ducks.
When did you last feed the ducks?
