The Easter holidays are flying by, I can’t believe we’ve made it to day four already, I don’t feel like we have stopped.
Today was my FIL’s birthday and as a treat they were taking all the grandchildren to a local children’s adventure park, Pettitts Animal Adventure Park. So with a packed lunch and a handover of car seats Roo and Tigger were off on a fun day out with Magic Nanny and Grandad.
I think it is lovely that children get to spend days out with their grandparents, especially as grandparents tend to be younger nowadays. When I think back to my childhood, while I loved going on walks with my Grandad and his dog as well as baking with my Granny they were retired so had the time to spend with all the grandchildren.
Roo and Tigger came home full of stories of what they had been up to and how they had played with my niece and nephew. Tigger however was shattered and didn’t really eat much tea so an early night for little man.
