Last month saw the UK celebrate National Puzzle Day and alongside that Jumbo got in touch with us to see if we would like to review one of their Sofia The First jigsaw puzzles.
Last year we saw the first 3D Disney princess animation series hit our screens in the form of Sofia The First. Sofia, a little girl with a commoner’s background until her mother marries King Roland the Second, and suddenly she is royalty. The latest addition to the Disney Channel has been a hit in the Boo Roo and Tigger Too household and not just by Roo, Tigger quite enjoys it too.
We received the Disney Sofia The First (20 Pieces) jigsaw puzzle, this one puzzle from a set of four that you can buy separately priced at £5.99 each. The puzzle itself measures 31x22cm (approx) and is suitable for children aged 3 years+.
The completed puzzle is actually the same size at the box it comes in which is great as it means that the child is able to complete the puzzle inside the box. Upon opening the box I was expecting to see the puzzle all jumbled up in a plastic bag instead the puzzle was completed and sitting on a raised cardboard platform. This enabled Tigger (he got to the puzzle first) to see what the complete puzzle should look like and allowed him to dismantle it too.
As there is only 20 pieces to this puzzle, Roo is able to complete it in seconds. Tigger on the otherhand takes his time, in fact I watched him doing it yesterday and once completed he takes it apart by removing the edge pieces first then the middle.
The puzzle pieces are good quality and fit together well, the image is clear and really brings the magic of Sofia The First to life.
Disclosure: We received the Disney Sofia The First Jigsaw Puzzle (20 Pieces) FOC for the purpose of review.
