One of my 2013 wishes is to become more crafty with Roo and Tigger. I am always thankful to the school and nursery for completing arts, crafts and baking activities with them. Why?? because they have all the mess and I still get the reward of the finished product.
Not this year, this year I want to roll up my sleeves and paint, stick, bake and generally make a mess. I want to be the one to wipe the paint off their noses and pat their bum with floured hands.
In order to do this I’m going to need some supplies…
In oilcloth tablecloth, my current cloth one annoys me on the best of days having to keep washing after mealtimes. So a wipeable tablecloth will allow any mess to be easily cleaned up.
I’d love to get some of those paint pots you had when you were at school that had a lid on. They allow the brush to go in but if knocked over the paint doesn’t spill out easily. Along with a selection of poster paints, PVA glue and baking accessories. I’m hoping to make the most out of our recycling pile and make robots, cars, monsters or whatever Roo and Tigger’s imaginations dream up.
I’ve managed to find some fabulous tabards on ACHICA, however I can’t decide between these two tabard sets for Tigger…
Gruffalo?
Or Dear Zoo?
Now I can’t forget Roo, I’m sure she would love anything pink so quite like this for her…
What items to you have for craft activities for your children?
