I love buying new clothes for Roo and Tigger, Roo in particular has far more clothes I own! The trouble is with each new event in our lives I love to buy them a new outfit. With Mother’s Day approaching and the possibility that we might go out somewhere nice for lunch or meet up with family I am busy looking around to see if anything catches my eye for them to wear.
When Roo was first born I think every other outfit that she wore was from Vertbaudet, they really do seem to have thought about tag and button placement especially on their baby range. Anyway throughout the years it is a company that I have turned to more and more often as they have a fabulous range of clothing and many of the styles are not what you would find on the high street.
I’ve been looking at their current range of children’s fashion in the hope that I can find something for Mother’s Day and well they haven’t disappointed me. Roo, think me loves her polka dots so I’ve found this cute purple polka dot dress that even when it starts to get a little short to wear as a dress can be teamed up with some leggings and worn as a tunic style top. I’ve opted to keep her accessories simple and ones that can easily be added to other outfits to the true wear out of them.
Generally speaking when I look at clothes for Tigger I have to think to myself ‘would Mr Boo wear it?’ if yes then I can’t go wrong. I have spotted a couple of fabulous t-shirts for the summer for him that I think are cute but Mr Boo might have other ideas (best run those past him before I order). Anyway I wasn’t looking for the summer, I was looking for a smart but transformable outfit for Mother’s Day.
I love Tigger in shawl style jumpers, whilst some may think that they are Grandad jumpers I think that are so cute. Teaming with a trusty pair of indigo jeans and a white shirt (tricky one but I live in hope that it will stay white) and of course some bother boots.
Do you dress your children up for Mother’s Day or other family dates over the year?
Disclosure: This is my entry into the Baby Budgeting Mother’s Day competition.
