Ahh Valentine’s Day, the one day of the year that you tell that person that makes your heart flutter than you love them. Whether you have someone special to share the day with or whether you are just wanting to let someone know that they have an admirer, Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be expensive.
Still recovering from the cost of Christmas, money can be a little tight when it comes to Valentine’s Day. So instead of spending silly money on a bouquet of red roses why not make up a gift bag full of little thoughtful gifts. Popping into your local Poundland store you’ll be amazed at the selection of Valentine’s Day gifts that are available.
Starting with the basics, make sure you grab a card and then a gift bag to hold all your little gifts. So personally for Mr Boo I would add some cheeky socks (men love socks don’t they?), a box of chocolates (that obviously he is going to share with me), a cuddly teddy (whilst I’m sure needs to sleep in Roo’s bed) and some photo coasters that will not only save me having to scrub ring marks off the coffee table but he’ll also get to look at my cheeky face whenever he has a drink (good thing? bad thing? not really sure). Alongside these gifts I’ve opted for some baking accessories whilst as they are don’t benefit Mr Boo straight away however as I have been enjoying a little baking at the moment they will soon be used to make some tasty treats for him.
Disclosure: I am a Poundland Ambassador, for which I received a Valentine’s gift selection.
