Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few weeks you will no doubt be aware that the Football World Cup is happening over in Brazil. Princes has discovered that the top Brazilian snack to enjoy while eating the football is a Cachorro Quente, which is a Hot Dog piled with tasty toppings. To celebrate the World Cup they have developed their own version of the recipe (below).
[yumprint-recipe id=’23’]Princes have challenged the Boo Roo and Tigger Too household to throw a football themed party and create our very own Cachorro Quente. With England an early knock out I decided to change tactics on my version of the Cachorro Quente. I opted to treat us all to a BLT Hot Dog…

What would you place on your hot dogs?
With the food sorted it’s time to organise some football themed games to keep everyone entertained…
Penalty shoot out
You don’t need to have a set of goal posts to enjoy a good old fashioned penalty shoot out, simply place wheelie bins, jumpers or even chairs approx 2m apart and voilà you have yourself a set of goals.
- Decide whether you are taking goalkeeping duty in turns or whether just one (brave) person will stand guard.
- Each player gets five turns and the one with the most goals wins
Keepie uppie
Hilarious to play with both children and adults
- Challenge each person to keep the ball from touching the ground as long as possible
- Time each person and whoever has the longest time wins
What other football theme games do you play?
Disclosure: We received football party supplies and a supermarket gift voucher FOC in order to host a children’s World Cup party
