At the weekend Mr Boo decided that he would wear is first Christmas jumper of the year to work. Seeing him looking festive made me decide to get the children’s Christmas tops out that had been kindly sent over by Nutmeg at Morrisons.
With Roo wearing a black long-sleeved top with the slogan ‘I am just snow excited’ printed on the front surrounded by stars and snowflakes. Tigger’s navy long-sleeved top was probably the aptest with ‘Santa… define good’ emblazoned across the front. Whilst Piglet had a cute cream long-sleeved top with tiny red hearts polka-dotted all over it, with Christmas tree embellished on the front made from different ribbons and textures.
Whilst we weren’t heading out to a party or visiting Father Christmas it still seemed the perfect opportunity to test drive the new Christmas apparel. In fact, we were heading out to High Lodge to complete the Stick Man trail.
It’s funny to think that just a few years ago the prospect of wearing a Christmas jumper was seen as some sort of torture, however, nowadays everyone is eager to get into the Christmas spirit. The Save the Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day has really made wearing something festive fun whilst at the same time raising money for charity. I’m not sure whether the school has planned anything for this year but the children are already with their Christmas apparel just in case.
A range of Christmas tops and jumpers are available from your local Morrisons store. Please check their website for your nearest Nutmeg stockist HERE
