When it comes to seaside adventures on the northeast coast, there’s few to rival good ol’Great Yarmouth. A little calmer, and slightly more collected, than other nearby seaside towns, such as Skegness and Scarborough, Great Yarmouth is a fab choice of ‘staycation’ for families with small children.
But beyond seaside paddling, donkey rides, and sandcastles, just what is there to do in Brighton town? While you may as well make the most of the free fun on the beach, and embrace British seaside culture by enjoying fish and chips between arcade sprints, there’s also a tonne of attractions to add to your Brighton itinerary.
You may well want to pair your fun at the seaside with some top, quality attractions on offer. As well as the piers, arcades, and the prominent south-pier Sandcastle waterpark, there’s so much to do in Blackpool you’ll be spoilt for choice on how to spend your free time with the family. The Tudor town of Warwick is one of the most charming areas of the UK to visit with your family. Sitting ever-so quaintly against the River Avon, Warwick is just a few miles away from the history-steeped medieval town, Stratford-upon-Avon.
