Can you Catch a Roo?

When it comes to playing games in the Boo Roo and Tigger Too household we are all somewhat competitive.  The whole notion that we should let others win once in a while is lost on us.  If you are going to play a game, you play it to win and it can make for some interesting family game nights.

Always on the look out for something new to add to our arsenal of family games, we were intrigued to receive the Catch A Roo game from The Green Board Co.  A simple concept game that is hugely competitive, especially when it comes to taking someone else’s roos!

Disney Channels UK and Ireland are launching a Mickey Mouse and Pals takeover starting on September 4, running 24-hours-a-day for the course of the month on Disney XD +1 carried by Sky and on Virgin Media. Content will include selected episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Mickey and the Roadster Racers, Sofia the First, The Lion Guard and Doc McStuffins. The channel will also host a range of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse specials.

Big Game Hunters // Crooked Mansion Wooden Playhouse

It’s such silly things to remember from my childhood, however, something I have always wanted to give my children is a wooden playhouse.  One that would be played in throughout their childhood and one that they would recall when they are older.  After years of not having a garden to house a playhouse, last year we moved home and finally have a garden to call our own.  Whilst a trampoline was one of the first things we added for them, I still longed for a playhouse for them to enjoy.

As a parent, I am pretty relaxed on what my children choose to play with.  After all, it is them who needs to be entertained by it, interact with it and hopefully have a lifespan of more than five minutes.  Don’t get me wrong, I do steer them away from things whilst we are in the toy store – pointing out that they had something similar and they never played with it so what makes this one so special.
