PAW Patrol has a funny effect on the children in my house. Piglet, of course, goes running to the TV and starts shouting out all the character names (she can’t say many words but funnily enough has managed to learn the PAW Patrol pups names!). Whilst Roo and Tigger, do a little groan about having to watch it. Although once the theme tune has finished you can find them glued to the screen as much as Piglet.

A couple of months ago Vorwerk contacted me to see whether I’d like to put the Kobold VK200 Cleaning System to the test. Stating that I would find vacuuming easier, enjoyable and most importantly I’d notice how much cleaner my carpets were. Last year we welcomed Trolls into our lives. We were very lucky to be invited to the Trolls BFI Gala Screening – which was simply amazing! This was Piglet’s first visit to the cinema, which she thankfully enjoyed due to the bold colours, amazing soundtrack and a packet of Wotsits. Fast forward to this year and we had downloaded the film onto our Sky box (yes I am too lazy to keep putting the DVDs in and out of the DVD player) for us to watch one weekend. The Trolls movie is a hit with all of us, but none more so that Piglet… Oh, my goodness, how she loves that film and Princess Poppy.
Shortly after we moved to our new house we found a bright orange car that looked like one of the cars from Transformers. We would joke that it was resting up after a busy night out fighting the Decepticons as it was always there on the morning school run in the same place. So you can imagine the delight on Tigger’s face when he came home to find the Transformers The Last Knight RC Bumblebee car sitting waiting for him…

Music is one of those things that brings everyone together. From late teenage nights getting ready to go out and meet up with Mr. Boo after he finished work with friends. I can remember having music blasting out as we got dressed and did our make up. To the nights we would be heading out to clubs and bars painting the night red and singing on karaoke.
Nowadays our clubbing days might well be over but music still plays a big part in our lives. Something we can enjoy with the children, family and friends no matter what the occasion or just because it’s Sunday night and we are putting off the fact that it’s almost Monday again.
Gaming has moved on just a touch from my childhood and both Roo and Tigger are well versed on how to load up games etc. This Christmas they have pooled their Christmas wish and asked Father Christmas for a PS4 – with Tigger adding on a separate wish for the LEGO Worlds game. Whilst there is a good chance that the big man will fulfill this wish (as long as bedrooms are kept tidy and chores completed), I have been looking at what gaming accessories are available to compliment the console.

This year has seen PAW Patrol fever grip our household. Ryder and his team of pups are based in Adventure Bay and are called upon whenever anyone needs their help. Whether it is Callie the cat stuck up the tree or the Adventure Bay lighthouse light goes out and the fog is settling in. With fun, friendship and adventure to be had in each episode. With each of the pups offering a different skill set which when combined with a combination of the other pups helps save the day.
