The birthday month is done and dusted for another year. Poor planning on mine and Mr. Boo’s part having all three children with November birthdays. Nevertheless, they all enjoyed their birthdays and between presents, bowling and tea parties they were completely spoilt. Another busy month with
Another busy month activity wise with a trip to Butlins, birthday parties, school events and the first taste of Christmas. We’re really making the effort to get out and about at the weekends rather than staying indoors.
Boo
Not much to report from me. I’ve just about adjusted to life as a WAHM, it’s refreshing to approach Christmas and not have to worry about childcare and shift patterns. I’ve got a couple of Christmas things booked with the girls that I used to work with so that will be nice to catch up with them all.
Roo
It seems that turning ten brings a whole host of attitude with it. Sadly it’s been a difficult month behaviour wise with some actions making me question my parenting skills. Whilst her attitude at home requires improvement, she is excelling at school and is the model student. I have joked with her that she used all her good up at school.
Tigger
I’m not sure whether turning six or whether he is cashing in on his big sister being in the bad books but he has been pulling out all the jokes this past month. Finding the perfect opportunity to lighten the mood. He is very proud of himself at the moment after being chosen as the narrator in the school play – all that reading practice is finally paying off.
Piglet
Despite my initial thoughts, Piglet hasn’t managed to master walking yet. Much to my relief! She is however, testing me and my limits on what she is and isn’t allowed to touch, open, put in her mouth etc. She will look at me as if to say ‘look at what I’m doing’ then smile when I say no – cheeky girl.
And that was our November, life is changing so much at the moment that I don’t feel as though I’ve recovered from the last change before the next happens.
