This is a gifted partnership
As a family, we like to think that we enjoy a good mix of family adventures. From thrill-seeking days out to quieter ones walking through the forest or visiting the many Norfolk beaches. Given that we have a range of fantastic Norfolk attractions on our doorstep, I was quite embarrassed when BeWILDerwood recently contacted us inviting us to see their latest addition ‘Towering Treetop Tangles‘. Embarrassed as somehow we’d never managed to visit before. However, this was a great reason to make our first visit to the Norfolk based adventure park.
What is BeWILDerwood?
BeWILDerwood at Hoveton in Norfolk is an adventure park like no other. Based on the magical world of ‘A Boggle at BeWILDerwood’, created by author Tom Blofeld, it’s a huge, award-winning forest of family fun and outdoor adventure. Treehouses, Wobbly Wires, Slippery Slopes, Crocklebogs, Twiggles and Boggles, storytelling, boat trips and marsh walks are waiting around every curious corner.

BeWILDerwood Towering Treetop Tangles
Towering Treetop Tangles is the park’s biggest, highest and most daring play structure to date. Reaching more than 30 feet high and covering more than 1,000 square feet, it is aimed at the slightly bigger, more adventurous kids. It includes exciting ground play, nets to clamber across, high-level walkways, climbing walls and challenging play equipment up in the treetops. The Tangles is designed to encourage creative, free-spirited play, and daring grown-ups are fully encouraged to scale the heights and join the fun too.
BeWILDerwood isn’t just for children
Whilst the Towering Treetop Tangles is designed with for more adventurous and experienced Twiggles. It is still accessible for slightly younger Twiggles, with Piglet certainly putting it through its paces during our visit. Helpfully followed by Mr Boo to ensure that she had access to a guiding hand where needed.
And, of course, it is built for parents to enjoy too. There is no standing around chattering at BeWILDerwood, it is a hands-on fun day for all the family. So make sure you all have sensible footwear on as you’ll be climbing, discovering and zipping down zip lines along with the children.
All inclusive ticket
One of the things we look at when we plan days out with the children is not only the cost of the entrance fee, but more importantly what extras are we likely to have to pay out for across the day. BeWILDerwood understand that parents are looking for value for money whilst their little ones are wanting an amazing day out. With this in mind they face painting, craft activities and amazing storybook sessions are all included with the entrance fee – how amazing is that. They do have a charity donation box available should you wish to donate but it is completely optional.
