Last weekend I made the trip ‘up north’ to take Roo and Tigger to stay with their Granny. On the way, we decided to take a detour and spend the day at Beamish Museum with Jen from The Mad House. It was such a beautiful day and the perfect way to break up the six-hour drive.
Read
Piglet has been pulling out all her books this week so we’ve spent most afternoons surrounded by books. She is loving her Teletubbies books, with Laa-Laa looking like her favourite – which doesn’t surprise me as she does tend to gravitate towards yellow.
Watched
I’ve not had the chance to watch anything of any note this week. I’m busy attempting to catch up with my to-do list and complete all the things around the house that have been forgotten about.
Heard
Whenever we go place to meet up with friends, Tigger generally is the one left to his own devices (the joys of having friends with girls). Whilst this doesn’t particularly bother him, I am conscious of it. At the weekend, however, he adored having the opportunity to play with Mini and Maxi from The Mad House. So much laughter, giggles, and banter passing between them – it made my heart melt.
Made
Wore
During the last 25% off TU clothing promotion at Sainsbury’s, I picked up Piglet a yellow playsuit. Up until now, it had been too big for her but finally, she has managed to wear it. I’m completely biased but I do love Piglet in yellow. There is something about the colour that brings out her personality.
Lastly
I think that Piglet must have missed me over the weekend as she has finally decided to say, mama. I’ve waited so long for this and it is so cute to hear her calling after me (I’m sure the novelty will wear off but for now it is so sweet).
