Every parent wants the best for their children and education is one of the key areas that parents focus as we all know how important a good education can be. Education has however changed from when most of us were at school and things have developed somewhat so it can be difficult to know how we can help our children learn at home.
This year Collins4Parents are helping parents with the back to school and have produced a parent guide that includes practical information for parents about each stage of their child’s education, as well as product recommendations for key stage. It’s a great guide which includes details of how to manage stress and wellbeing as well as practical steps on how you can encourage learning at home.
This is a FREE guide that parents can be downloaded at www.collins.co.uk/parents
They are also offering a 25% discount plus free P&P on the Collins Back to School range of books until 30 September 2015 using promo code SCHOOL25 which can be used on the www.collins.co.uk website.
When Roo was at infant school her teachers recommended buying the Letts Monster Practice activity books which really helped her gain confidence with each of the different subjects. With Tigger starting school this September I will be taking advantage of the 25% discount on the Collins website to get Tigger a selection of the age 3-5 range. I’m sure that these will help him prepare for school over the summer and enjoy them as much as Roo did.
How did you prepare your children for starting school?
