This is a gifted partnership
The iconic Baby Annabell has a brand new play theme: Baby Annabell Lunch Time! This exciting new range extends the Baby Annabell play themes and helps children begin to understand the importance of healthy meal choices.
To celebrate the launch of the new Baby Annabel Lunch Time range, we were invited along to an extra special Baby Annabell themed event. With not only Baby Annabell and Baby Alexander in attendance but the wonderful Annabel Karmel. Whom has teamed up with Baby Annabel to create five recipes, bursting with yummy flavours and delicious wholesome ingredients.
Annabel Karmel
I’m always looking for new and fun ways to keep children interested in healthy eating and making the right choices when it comes to food so the partnership with Baby Annabell makes complete sense, aligning with a brand that wants to promote the same thing. The new Lunch Time range from Baby Annabell is great fun and little ones will love it – it’s a brilliant way of introducing children to food groups and healthy options as they learn what Baby Annabell likes to eat. We hope families will love the recipes we’ve created, which are quick and simplet to make tigether and help mums and dads in finding that special time to spend with their children over the holidays, weekends and evenings after work.

Baby Annabell Lunch Time Table
The Baby Annabell Lunch Time Table is an interactive highchair for Baby Annabell or Baby Alexander 43cm dolls. Offering children a range of ways to interact and engage with the Lunch Time table.
Included within the Lunch Time Table from Baby Annabell is the lunch time table high chair, 3 main courses, 3 desserts and a bottle with drink selection. As well as a feeding spoon to offer the food to Baby Annabell. The set does require 3x AAA batteries which aren’t included (so make sure to pick some up).
- A fun Lunch Time game! – There’s lots of fun to be had with our Baby Annabell Lunch Time Table. Little ones will love picking what Baby Annabell would like to eat!
- Pick what food to give – Does she want peas or carrots? Is it berries or custard for pudding? What drink does she want?
- Light and sound effects – Put the chosen food on the drink, main or pudding space and watch as it lights up green for yes, or red for no!
- Listen to her reaction – Test the food with Baby Annabell by putting the spoon in her mouth and listen for her funny reactions.
Piglet loved interacting with Lunch Time Table and the corresponding Baby Annabell dolls. Learning about which foods will gain a green light on the highchair indicating that Baby Annabell is happy to eat that food. As well as gaining red lights and a resounding yuk from the foods that she is not so keen on eating. A wonderful way to introduce her to different foods as well highlight the differences between main meals, desserts and drink options.
Cooking up a treat with Annabel Karmel
Alongside being able to get hands-on with the new Baby Annabell Lunch Time Table and interact with it using the Baby Annabell and Baby Alexander dolls. We were also treated to a cooking session with Annabel Karmel with a Halloween theme. Making Halloween Alien Apple & Pumpkin Muffins (full recipe below).
I have such fond memories of baking with my mum and my Granny from when I was a child and it is something that I have continued with my own children. Roo especially loves to bake, so was very excited at the prospect of making something that Annabel Karmel had created as we have used her books many, many times over the years.
After explaining the very straightforward recipe to us, it was time to get hands-on and start making our very own batch of Halloween Alien Apple & Pumpkin Muffins. Thankfully, all the ingredients had been weighed and measured for us as this can be the tricky part when cooking with little ones. Roo knowing her way around a mixing bowl managed to get Tigger and Piglet involved with pouring in ingredients as well as the mixing. Although Piglet was eyeing up the mixture for a quick snack before it even reached the muffin tin.
Thankfully, they did all make it to the oven, however, the same cannot be said for the batch we had for decorating. With Piglet deciding that she had waited long enough and munched her muffin before any icing pots were even added to our workstation. Luckily Roo and Tigger managed to create some decorated Halloween Alien Apple & Pumpkin Muffins. Which I’m sure you’ll agree they look quite funky!
